Digital Nomad Visa & Immigration in Singapore

Planning your move to Singapore? Here is everything you need to know about digital nomad visa & immigration for digital nomads and expats in 2026.

Singapore is the financial hub of Asia, but it is not a country for casual digital nomads. It is a high-barrier, hyper-wealthy jurisdiction designed for corporate executives and successful entrepreneurs.

EntrePass (Entrepreneur Pass)

There is no "Digital Nomad Visa." If you want to live here and run a business, you need the EntrePass.

  • Requirements: You must start a private limited company in Singapore, and it must either have at least $100,000 SGD in venture funding, hold an intellectual property (IP) registered with a national IP institution, or collaborate with a recognized research institution.
  • The Reality: Simply being a freelance graphic designer or remote coder will not get you an EntrePass.

Employment Pass (EP) / ONE Pass

  • EP: You must be hired by a Singaporean entity with a minimum salary of $5,000 SGD/month (scaling up with age). Many nomads use a local Corporate Service Provider (like Sleek or Osome) to set up an offshore company that then "hires" them on an EP, but the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) heavily scrutinizes these setups in 2026.
  • ONE Pass: For the ultra-elite. Requires a fixed monthly salary of at least $30,000 SGD. Grants a 5-year personalized pass.
