Latvia joined the trend and introduced its own nomad visa recently.

• Requirements: You must be a citizen of an OECD country (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, Japan, most of the EU) or a resident of one. You must prove a monthly income of at least 2.5 times the Latvian average gross salary. In 2026, this translates to roughly €3,400 to €3,800 per month.
• Employment: You must be employed by an employer registered in an OECD country, or be a self-employed person registered in an OECD country.
• Duration: Valid for 1 year, renewable for 1 additional year.
