The Digital Nomad Visa (VITEM XIV)

Brazil was the first country in South America to officially launch a nomad visa.

• Requirements: You must prove a monthly income of at least $1,500 USD, OR show a bank balance of $18,000 USD. You must provide a work contract from a foreign employer or proof of freelance clients.
• Duration: Valid for 1 year, and renewable for a second year.
• The Process: You can apply at a Brazilian consulate abroad, or enter on a tourist visa and apply from within Brazil through the MigranteWeb system.
